‘Society Growth’ is about maximising collective wisdom, prosperity and satisfaction across sectors, countries and the Global Village

The purpose of a Network Society is 'Society Growth' by maximising collective wisdom, collective prosperity and collective satisfaction at ‘Zero Marginal Cost‘ in sectors, countries and the Global Village for everyone, everywhere. Massively scalable ‘blockchainified’ databases (BigchainDB) … next internet phase … only 100 public databases to organise ‘Big Data’ and every ‘thing’ globally

Massively scalable blockchainified databases are the next phase of the internet. In its current form, Blockchain is limited in terms of size, scalability and latency and is not a world changing technology. The next incarnation of Blockchain will not be Blockchain, but massively scalable blockchainified databases which overcome these limitations and are a profound technology that can scale and change the world. As few as 100 blockchainified databases (by sector or country) could organise the world. This article introduces the applications for Blockchainified databases and then provides a comprehensive overview of the technology.

Basic Income (Industrial Economy survival) vs. Minimum Life (Network Society contribution) … growth and purpose from contribution

Basic Income (Industrial Economy survival) vs. Minimum Life (Network Society contribution) … growth and purpose from contribution

An Industrial Economy reduces a person's (potential) life to materialism, confusion, isolation and survival and the prospect of a 'basic income' (for unemployment or retirement) that an Industrial Economy can not afford. This is not life. A Network Society empowers every individual with collective prosperity (beyond materialism), collective satisfaction and collective wisdom in a highly productive society structure that can not only fund a 'Basic Income', but also motivates individuals with a bonus from contribution to 'things' and the opportunity to contribute to any individual or society purpose in any sector or country.

What is Prosperity? Wisdom Networks consolidate and focus all 8 Forms of Capital underlying prosperity (unlike Industrial Economy fragmentation and centralisation)

What is Prosperity? Wisdom Networks consolidate and focus all 8 Forms of Capital underlying prosperity (unlike Industrial Economy fragmentation and centralisation)

Industrial Economy fragmentation and centralisation mean that the 8 forms of capital are fragmented and isolated in millions of centralised structures. Industrial Economy only organises financial wealth and financialises material wealth. Wisdom Networks and the resulting Network Society consolidate and focus all 8 forms of capital within sector and country networks to drive individual, sector, country and global prosperity.

Giant centralised hierarchies are anomalies of economic history … Zero Marginal Cost enables the emerging ‘Collaborative Commons’

Giant centralised hierarchies are anomalies of economic history … Zero Marginal Cost enables the emerging ‘Collaborative Commons’

We will explore the obsolescence of giant centralised hierarchies in a more comprehensive article in the future. In the interim, we want to introduce the view that giant centralised hierarchies are an anomaly in economic history as a means to organise society, not the norm, and natural processes of evolution are trying to transform our Industrial Economy into a Network Society, or a 'Collaborative Commons' structure.

‘1 Malaysia’: Economic Transformation, Government Transformation and driving key sectors to raise incomes by 2020

Malaysia provides an example of a country that has chosen “committed metamorphosis” in intent and backed it with statute, a “turnaround” private sector CEO, a dedicated department empowered by statute and significant funding. All over Malaysia, the “1 Malaysia” logo is prominent and so are specific references to it’s two themes of “Economic Transformation” and “Economic Transformation”.

Is Australia ‘The Lucky Country’ reverting to its Economic Complexity (Third World) peers … real incomes declined 2.3%

Is Australia ‘The Lucky Country’ reverting to its Economic Complexity (Third World) peers … real incomes declined 2.3%

Australia has the prosperity of a first world nation, and the complexity of a country with much lesser prosperity. On the Atlas of Economic Complexity, it is an outlier and has acquired prosperity far greater than its Economic Complexity would deliver. Many Australians would be surprised to understand who its economic peers are, or that the phrase "The Lucky Country" is a negative phrase and not a term of endearment. Perhaps, the reversion to the mean has started. Growth in personal debt to record levels delayed declines in standards of living temporarily. Record immigration was largely responsible for keeping recent GDP growth positive. Eventually, Australia's prosperity reverts to its Economic Complexity peers. Perhaps, that process has already started. For the quarter ended June 2015, ">Real net national disposable income per person fell 1.2% for the quarter and contracted 2.3% over the past year"
